We develop and run high-traffic Web services which are preferable based on large amounts of informations like billions of data entries. Providing dynamic contents to several hundred thousands of users per day requires software optimized for speed. On the backend side a highly customized database design is needed to provide requested information fast enough. Things get even more complicated if these large data pools have to be updated on the fly to keep the information fresh. We handle these situations by developing highly optimized algorithms and applying mathematical concepts.

Especially we are experienced in building large-scale search engines. To handle a data pool consisting of billions of entries, the information has to be made searchable. Without a fast search function the relevant data is buried under a large pile of other data, which cannot be handled manually. Those large amounts of data have to be organized automatically to make them useful, which is not a trivial task.

Also we develop Web applications, which offer almost the functionality of native software, but can run on any browser. These Web applications do not need to be installed on the computer locally and are platform independent. We keep our focus on providing applications with fast response times, even if they offer complex functionality. Also we make sure that these applications run on any browser without the need to install additionally plug-ins by using standard techniques like AJAX. We believe software as a Web service will become more and more important.

We have deep knowledge about building and running server systems. This includes software and hardware aspects. Also we are experienced in designing networks and in applying security concepts like firewalls and in virtualization. We used to do consulting and to plan and develop software systems within our core competencies for customers. Currently we do not take orders, since we are busy working on our own projects. At the moment we only work in exceptional cases on external projects, which require our knowledge and raise our interest.
